Kusaug-based fast-rising Ghanaian singer Kingley Baba Akubila, popularly known as Weedabes, is making waves again. His latest single, “Survivor,” was released on 30 of September, 2026 and is already climbing the charts on Audiomack.
Just hours after dropping, the song has ranked No. 8 on Audiomack’s Ghana Caribbean chart and No. 126 on the Ghana Top 200 songs chart. That is a strong start for an artist from the Upper East Region, and it shows how quickly fans are connecting with the new release.
The numbers are a big win for Weedabes and for the growing music scene in Kusaug and the wider Upper East Region. They also show that talent from the North can compete with the best on Ghana’s digital platforms when the music is good and the fans show up.
If you haven’t heard “Survivor” yet, now is the time. Stream it on Audiomack and all streaming platforms, add it to your playlists, and share it with friends. Every play helps push the song higher on the charts.
Congratulations to Weedabes on this achievement. We look forward to seeing how far “Survivor” goes.
