Bloggers Forum: “We Need Music Industry Office In The Upper East Region” – Young Pop & Mani Mandela Appeals
Young Pop, a fast-rising artist from kusanaba in the Bawku west district of the Upper East Region, who was the featured guest on the weekly Twitter space dubbed “Bloggers Forum,” stated that the largest challenge he has seen in the music industry in the region is the lack of an industry office.
According to him, the office would have functioned as a unifier in the region, as everyone is currently doing their own thing, which isn’t benefiting the sector at all.
Mani Mandela added his voice to the preceding submission, stating that establishing the office would benefit the region much and would enable the artists who will be members of the Association to effectively push each other.
He therefore calls to industry stakeholders to do their best to examine this viewpoint, establish the office, and attempt to assemble all of the region’s musicians under one roof.
