In a heartwarming display of generosity and community spirit, Awudu Fuseini, a young and dynamic businessman from Bawku who is widely celebrated for his supportive role in society, has officially launched a foundation dubbed the “Ishallah Widows and Orphans Foundation.”
The foundation is dedicated to reaching out to the needy in society, with a special focus on widows, orphans, and persons living with disabilities. Popularly known by many across the Kusaug area as “Top Senior,” Awudu Fuseini has built a reputation over the years as a man whose heart beats for the vulnerable and the underprivileged, and this new foundation is simply the latest and most formal expression of a passion for giving that has defined him for a long time. The foundation was launched at Binduri in the Kusaug area of the Upper East Region, and the event was marked by an outpouring of goodwill as widows, orphans, and disabled persons from across the area gathered to witness and benefit from this new initiative.
During the launch, Awudu Fuseini did not come empty-handed. He donated a substantial amount of food items alongside an undisclosed sum of money to a total of one hundred and forty people drawn from three districts. Fifty beneficiaries were selected from the Bawku Municipality, another fifty from the Binduri District, and forty from the Bawku West District, all of whom fall within the categories of widows, orphans, and persons with disabilities that the foundation seeks to support. For many who have followed Awudu Fuseini’s journey, this latest act of philanthropy comes as no surprise.

Long before the Ishallah Widows and Orphans Foundation was born, Top Senior had already carved a name for himself as a quiet but consistent supporter of the arts, particularly through his backing of almost all the upcoming musicians in the Kusaug area. His willingness to invest in young talent, without seeking the spotlight for himself, earned him admiration and goodwill among artists and the general public alike, and it is this same spirit of selfless giving that has now blossomed into a full-fledged foundation aimed at touching even more lives.
The foundation was officially launched on the sixteenth of July, 2026, and it is already being described by many as a turning point in organized philanthropy within the Kusaug area, since it brings structure and continuity to what has largely been individual and sporadic acts of kindness in the region. What makes this initiative even more remarkable is that Awudu Fuseini is not stopping at Binduri. He has already announced plans to extend the same gesture of love and support to the people of Garu, Tempane, and Pusiga districts on Sunday, the twenty-sixth of July, 2026, demonstrating that this is not a one-off publicity event but a sustained commitment to reaching as many vulnerable people as possible across the Upper East Region.
As the Ishallah Widows and Orphans Foundation continues to expand its reach, it is expected to become a beacon of hope for widows, orphans, and disabled persons who often find themselves on the margins of society, and many are hopeful that Awudu Fuseini’s example will inspire other well-to-do individuals in the Kusaug area and beyond to rise up and support the vulnerable in their own communities.
