Dem Boi Holds Back New Release “Many Things” Out of Respect for Young Pop’s Birthday

The Upper East music scene continues to buzz with exciting news as two of its fast-rising stars make headlines. Dem Boi, the Zebilla-based singer who has become a household name in the region with several viral and hit songs, recently announced his intention to drop his much-anticipated new single “Many Things” in early September.

However, in a surprising twist, Dem Boi has decided to hold back the release of the track after fellow artist Young Pop revealed that he would be dropping his own song on September 9th, which also happens to be his birthday.

Taking to his WhatsApp status, Dem Boi shared:
“I want drop many things this week but because of my godfather birthday….. I mean Young Pop.”

The statement has since sparked conversations among fans and followers, who are commending Dem Boi for showing maturity, respect, and brotherhood in the industry. Many have described the move as a demonstration of unity rather than rivalry, something that is often missing in the Ghanaian music space.

Dem Boi’s last release, “DripGad”, gained massive attention across the Upper East Region, cementing his position as one of the most influential young voices in Kusaug music. Fans are already eager for “Many Things”, and while the release date is yet to be confirmed, the anticipation continues to grow.

As for Young Pop, celebrating his birthday with a new release on September 9th is expected to be a big moment for his fans and supporters. With both artists pulling strong numbers in the region, the coming weeks are set to be very exciting for music lovers in the Upper East.
