The highly anticipated Upper East Music Awards (UEMAs) has just announced the rewarding categories and substantial prizes for this year’s event. As an annual celebration of the vibrant music scene in Ghana’s Upper East region, the UEMAs aim to motivate and uplift talented local artists across various genres.

The Blogger of the Year category recognizes the hard work and dedication of music bloggers in promoting Upper East artists. The winner will receive a generous cash prize of GH₵5000, monthly data support of GH₵200 for 12 months, and HM products. This support will help the winning blogger continue their coverage of emerging talent in the region.

The prestigious Artiste of the Year award honors the standout musician who has made a significant impact locally and nationally. The winner will take home GH₵20,999 cash, brand logo usage, brand sponsorship for a major concert, and Charger Ltd product supply for a year. This prize package will help the artist gain greater exposure.

Best New Act of the Year encourages up-and-coming artists to keep honing their craft. The winner will receive a monthly stipend of GH₵500 for one year, providing financial stability as they grow their music career.

The popular HMB Song of the Year award goes to the catchiest, most-loved song that got people dancing all year long. The winning artist will earn GH₵5000 cash and brand sponsorship for a high-quality music video shoot to further promote their hit song.

Outstanding male vocalists are recognized through the Male Vocalist of the Year category, with the winner taking home GH₵5000 cash. This award highlights vocal mastery and stylistic flair.

As the organizer of the UEMAs, I’m thrilled to reward such dedication and diverse talent in the Upper East music scene. These substantial prizes will motivate artists, provide stability, and showcase our vibrant culture to the rest of Ghana and beyond. I wish good luck to all nominees – may the best win on awards night! From the CEO of Charget limited the lead sponsor for the Awards Ceremony.
