FlameBwoy Announces New EP “Voice From the Slums” for 2024

Upper East Region musical sensation FlameBwoy has recently taken to Facebook to announce his upcoming EP titled “Voice From the Slums.” The talented dancehall artist, who won Upper East Music Awards’ Best New Artist and Dancehall Artist of the Year in 2023, revealed that his new EP is slated for release in 2024.

Hailing from Zebilla in the Upper East Region of Ghana, FlameBwoy shared that the title of his upcoming EP will be “Voice From the Slums.” This title likely references FlameBwoy’s own humble beginnings in the slums of Zebilla before rising to fame as one of the region’s top musical acts.

In the Facebook post, FlameBwoy said “The Story Just Change, This The Official Title Of My New And Upcoming EP 2024. Just Watch Out, Tracks Are 60% Done.” This implies we can expect the EP sometime later this year, as the tracks are already in progress.

FlameBwoy burst onto the Upper East music scene in 2023 with his hit single “buyer peter.” His unique dancehall flavor and lyrical delivery in local languages helped him stand out. After winning the two top awards at last year’s UEMAs, FlameBwoy has proven himself as a rising star in Ghanaian dancehall music.

Fans are eagerly anticipating what FlameBwoy has in store for his new EP. If the title is any indication, “Voice From the Slums” will represent FlameBwoy’s experiences growing up in poverty and how he found his voice through music. Make sure to keep an eye out for the release of this highly-anticipated EP from one of Upper East Region’s brightest talents.
