Dr. Emmanuel Bortey Borketey, the CEO of Charger Limited, producers of Happy Man Beverages who is the headline sponsor for the prestigious Upper East Music Awards has announced spicy packages for some categories of the 2022 edition.


According to the business mogul, “As part of my own way of supporting these young talents in the music industry of the upper east region, I am taking the extra step aside being main sponsor of the prestigious Happy Man Bitters Upper East Music Awards to pledge the following.

1. The winner of the MOST POPULAR SONG OF THE YEAR for the 2022 edition of HMB-UEMA will be rewarded with a grand cash price of GHC5000.00 and a whole year’s supply of products from Happy Man Bitters


2. The winner of the GOSPEL SONG OF THE YEAR for the 2022 edition of HMB-UEMA will be rewarded with a top notch music video, a possible collaboration with an A list gospel artist from the south and a Cash price of GHC 4000.00.

3. For NEW ACT OF THE YEAR, the winner shall receive a monthly stipend of GHC 500.00 for a period of one year from Me.


4. For the Grand Price, the WINNER OF OVERALL ARTIST OF THE YEAR for HMB-UEMA 2022, shall walk away with a project fund of GHC.20,022.00 to directly enhance his or her music career, products from Charger Limited with possible opportunities of partnership with Charger Limited for mutual growth.

Meanwhile, the official launch and nominees announcement is scheduled for Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Tap Hotel in Bolgatanga.


The main awards night is expected to take place in December 2022.
