Rapper Edward Amoah, better known by his stage name Kofi Mole, has taken legal action against several content producers and social media users. The lawsuits stem from disparaging remarks posted about him online.
The defamatory comments, which falsely accused Kofi Mole of drug usage and health problems, began circulating on TikTok after an interview with Elikem Aidam. These comments have had a negative impact on the artist’s reputation.
In response to the defamatory content, Kofi Mole’s attorney, Barrister Worlayo D. Zowonu of Afadjato Chambers, sent a formal cease-and-desist letter. The letter, dated May 12, 2025, requests the immediate removal of the offensive content from online platforms.
The cease-and-desist letter also demands a public apology from the content producers and social media users involved. According to the terms, the apology must be published on the same platforms where the defamatory material was originally posted. The apology is required to appear once a week for eight consecutive weeks.
