Sarkodie hits 1 million YouTube subscribers, a big blow for the industry

Ghana’s biggest rap artist Michael Owusu Addo popularly known as Sarkodie has climbed another stage in his life as a musician as he surpasses one million subscribers on YouTube.

Becoming the first Ghanaian musician and the third African rapper to reach this level is a big achievement to him and Ghana music as well. Few other Ghanaian artists are working so hard to reach this milestone.

Sarkodie got this quick growth after releasing a diss track to reply Yvonne Nelson’s accusations leveled against him which had so many views and probably new subscribers too.

Some other Ghanaian artists who very close to get this achievement is Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale and Black Sherif.
