Ghanaian award winning Reggae/dancehall musician, Stonebwoy, Blogger Mustapha Attractive and Estate Developer have been invited by Police over death threat, according to the source.
It will be vividly recalled that a Ghanaian real estate developer made a shocking revelation about Stonebwoy ever attempting to commit a punitive crime at the expense of his freedom.
The real estate developer, who is at the center of this conversation, identified as Derrick Appiah disclosed that Stonebwoy threatened to take his life during a business transaction.
During an interview, Mr. Derrick Appiah accused Stonebwoy of failing to pay 5% of the agreed amount as commission to him even though that was the agreement.
“I rented a house to him peacefully and afterward sold his current place of residence to him in 2019.
“As part of the agreement, Stonebwoy was supposed to pay me 5% out of $440,000 as a commission, but he refused to fulfil his part of the agreement by first reducing the agent fee from 5% to 2% which is $8,800.
“Instead of giving me the 2% $8800, he gave me $500, so I returned the money to him and asked him to pay my money in full because it was supposed to be 5% but for peace’s sake, I reluctantly agreed to take the 2%.
“Again, Stonebwoy decided to give me $500 instead of the 2% exactly and told me that if I don’t take the $500 he won’t give me any additional money.
“So I replied that when they contacted me to search for a house for them to buy, I was initially dealing with his wife and not him. He then angrily told me that if I mention his wife’s name again, it will be grave and prison,” Derrick Appiah is quoted saying to blogger Attractive Mustapha.
End of an Era – Popular Radio Host Leaves DASTECH FM in Zebilla
DASTECH FM and the people of Zebilla are bidding farewell to a beloved radio voice after nearly a decade on the air. Mamudu Musah Salifu, one of the most recognized and talented hosts in the Kusaug Kingdom, announced his resignation last week after serving at DASTECH FM 90.1MHZ since November 15, 2015.
Salifu has been a staple of the community radio station for 9 years, entertaining and informing listeners with his iconic voice and amiable hosting style. His deep passion for radio and connection with the local community made him hugely popular across Zebilla and the surrounding villages.
In his resignation message, Salifu expressed heartfelt gratitude to the “management and all the staff of DASTECH FM and the general public for your support during my stay.” It is undoubtedly the end of an era for many loyal listeners of his shows over the past near-decade. The outpouring of appreciative comments on social media is proof of the special place he holds in the hearts of the people.
While the reason for his decision remains unclear, there is widespread speculation that Salifu may explore bigger opportunities down the road. His level of talent clearly transcends community radio, and many believe he has the skill to succeed on bigger platforms. However, for now, his close-knit fans in Zebilla will dearly miss tuning in to the familiar, friendly voice that has been a staple of their local airwaves since the late 2000s.
There is no doubt that staff and listeners of DASTECH FM will miss the 9-year veteran. But they will also be grateful for the years of entertainment he provided from behind the radio mic. All of Kusaug Kingdom thanks Mr. Salifu for his long service to community radio, Congratulations and best wishes to him in his future endeavors. Below is a message shared by him.
Fella Makafui Cuts Black Friday Sale Short Due to Illness
Fella Makafui, the popular Ghanaian socialite and wife of rapper Medikal, has expressed her sincere gratitude to the people of Kumasi for their overwhelming support of her Black Friday sales event at the Kumasi City Mall.
In a statement, Makafui said that the crowds that turned up showed “massive support” and that she was “entirely grateful.” The Black Friday sale was originally scheduled to run for four days, including Sunday November 26th. However, Makafui sadly had to cut the event short after taking ill on Saturday and needing immediate medical treatment.
She offered her sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused by ending the sale early. Makafui credited the great turnout and enthusiasm amongst shoppers in Kumasi for making her Black Friday initiative a success prior to her unexpected illness. She promised that she will come back to Kumasi again soon to express her appreciation.
The socialite’s illness serves as an unfortunate reminder that health should always come first, even when conducting business or engaging with the public. However, the positive response from the people of Kumasi suggests that whenever Makafui is ready to return, she will continue to receive endless support. Her fans will surely wish her a speedy recovery from her ailment.
“I received only Ghc 400 monthly” – Mary, former worker for Kumami Eugene reveals
Mary, a former personal assistant to popular Ghanaian musician Kuami Eugene, recently revealed in an interview that she was paid a monthly salary of just GHS 400 (about $50) during her employment with the singer.
Mary served as a live-in assistant, taking care of various household duties and personal needs for Kuami Eugene. However, despite the long hours and extensive responsibilities, she claims her compensation was far below standard wages.
“I was paid 400gh every month for my first years and they payment was increased to 500gh the next year, so it continued that way until recently when i was sacked he reduced my pay to 400gh for that particular month”
She went on to describe difficult working conditions and a lack of appreciation from her former employer. This has sparked a debate around the appropriate pay and treatment of domestic workers in Ghana.
Critics have accused Kuami Eugene, who regularly flaunts his wealth on social media, of exploiting his employee. But others have noted that low wages are common practice in the domestic service industry across the country.
Mary’s account has shed light on the broader issue of fair pay for domestic workers in Ghana. It has raised questions around the value placed on traditional “women’s work” and what constitutes ethical employment practices in private homes.
As Kuami Eugene remains silent regarding his former assistant’s allegations, many will be closely watching to see if or how the popular musician responds. In the meantime, Mary’s experience is fueling an ongoing public dialogue about labor rights and equitable treatment.
