Faila Responds To Critics Over Her “Disappointed“ Comment To Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy And Samini (VIDEO)

Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak has finally addressed the recent controversy surrounding her comment about certain celebrities not attending her cook-a-thon. Just few days after she finished her cook-a-thon, she had an exclusive interview with Joy Prime and shed light on her expectations.

According to Failatu, she had hoped that Shatta Wale, the head of Shatta Movement, would show his support by being present at the event. This expectation arose from Shatta Wale’s previous statement on Facebook, where he had expressed his intention to visit Chef Faila, just as he did for Afua Asantewaa Aduonum during her singathon. She said: “If it was something bad about the North, everyone would have been talking about it. Not a single big musician showed up for North on this project. Not Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Samini, etc. It was Kwabena Kwabena who passed through.”

” There were a lot of expectations that we were going to see some of the artistes we support so much from this angle show up and support us. Believe me, if I see Stonebwoy or Shatta Wale’s song, I can sing it to amaze you, but nobody showed up for us, and so they owe us an apology.”In a turn of events, Chef Faila has clarified that her comments were misinterpreted during an interview with TV3 on TV3’s Newday show. She went on to say that people were misinterpreting her remarks and emphasised that she forgave everyone who made unjustified insults to her.
