‘I Still Get Threats For The Tweets I Posted Years Ago’ – KiDi Reveals

Ghanaian musician, Dennis Nana Dwamena who is widely known KiDi has indicated that he is still receiving threats from things he said on Twitter some years ago.

It could be recalled that the award-winning musician made headlines some days ago after some of his old tweets hit the internet.

Some of the tweets were very demeaning and this made most Ghanaians subject him to massive ridicule.

Reacting to this, he said;

“I wish people will not judge me by the person I was 10 years ago. I regret tweeting those old tweets.

I still get threats for the tweets I posted years ago. My whole family is feeling the heat. Some people do not care whether you’ve apologized or regretted certain things.

I would have wanted all the attention to go to my EP. I asked myself: “Where were all these people when I released my EP?” But those thoughts were just by the way.”

In the same interview, he revealed that DJs have earned his maximum respect after he decided to venture into their craft.

This comes after Hitz FM’s Andy Dosty called him out for learning how to DJ. Andy Dosty said that Kidi has disrespected all DJs by learning their craft in addition to his craft as a musician.

Speaking in an interview on the Daybreak Hitz morning segment, Kidi lauded DJ Vyrusky for teaching him how to DJ. He said that the procedure was very tough for him at the beginning but upon learning a few things after the craft, he had massive respect for DJs.

He added that DJs are doing a lot of work on the account that the procedures involved in their craft is very challenging.
