“Stonebwoy disrespected Me, Never Checked On Me After My Accident”, Fad Lan reveals

Northern Ghana’s rising music star, Fad Lan, has expressed deep disappointment in Stonebwoy following an incident at the Bhim Nation Concert (BhimFest) which  happened last year in Accra. Speaking in an exclusive interview with Hype TV, hosted by Ishassan Dablee, Fad Lan revealed that what was supposed to be a career-boosting moment turned into a painful experience.

According to the “Young Bull,” he received an invitation to perform at the prestigious BhimFest and, out of excitement and respect for Stonebwoy, traveled to Accra using his own resources. However, upon getting to the venue, he was completely ignored and denied the chance to perform. Fad Lan described the experience as a serious disrespect from Stonebwoy, considering the efforts and sacrifices he made to honor the invitation.

The Tamale-based artist further disclosed that shortly after returning home, he was involved in a terrible accident. What hurt him even more, he said, was that Stonebwoy never reached out to check on him, despite knowing about the incident.

For Fad Lan, the episode not only left him disappointed but also raised questions about how established artists treat up-and-coming talents. While Stonebwoy remains one of Ghana’s most celebrated artists globally, Fad Lan believes that respect and courtesy should be mutual, especially when young musicians look up to industry giants.

The revelation has sparked mixed reactions among fans. Some sympathize with Fad Lan, saying he deserved better treatment, while others argue that misunderstandings often happen at large events like BhimFest. Regardless, the story has fueled ongoing conversations about support and recognition for northern artists in the Ghanaian music industry.

As Fad Lan continues his journey, one thing remains clear: his voice represents not just his personal pain but also the struggles many young artists face in a competitive music space.
